Does anyone know the standard sizes for brake discs on a 2003 plate Octavia vRS (estate). Some places seem to list 288m for the fronts, others list 312mm. Can't find a straight answer on the rears either.

Sorry for dense question, I'm sure the info is out there somewhere, just struggling to find a reliable answer.

Fronts: 312mm

On mine 1.8T (2002, 150HP) fronts are 288 and rears 239mm.

As said above, 312mm = fronts and 256mm = rears, all vented.

Cheers guys. So what discs are compatible with the Octavia? Looking to go cheap and get the discs off ebay. Loads of cheap 312mm discs available for Audi S3 and Audi TT and the like but few specified for the Octy. Are these Audi disks likely to be compatible or do they have different bolt patterns or offsets?

Octy Mk1 has 5x100 bolt pattern. This is commonplace pattern: Golf IV, Audi late 90's early 00's, etc. I think you won't have trouble finding the right discs.

AFAIK the S3 LCR TT Cupra all have same front discs as the octy being 312mm pads however iirc are the same as the 288mm ones i think.
