Just recently bought a VRS, I noticed a few days after collecting it that the foam over the seat bolster frame was split. Its suddenly become a lot worse. Has this happened to anyone else?

Contacted the dealer, they said its not unwarrantable, they dont even want to see it. I know its not under warranty, my previous car (focus) had 90k on the clock, the seats were in perfect condition. Same with the parents passat, twice the mileage and 3 times the age.

Yes Mine went too! started small and eventually the frame was visable, tried getting it re stitched which worked for about a week then the frame worked its way through! ended up saving up a little and let Paul and his guys at seat surgeons do there magic with a leather retrim who repared the seat with new foam for free before fitting the leather (5* job seats look fantastic now). The standard seats in Vrs are a nightmare, i guess they got it right on the se!
