Driving test survey

The 40 zone goes for about a 1/4 ish mile before the roundabout

I dont know why the speed limit changes from 60

You could come to a rolling stop at the roundabout if you took your foot off the accelerator when you got to the 40 sign

(probably an accident blackspot)

I cant talk about speedy tests though

I failed my first test and the examiner informed me that

"30 is a speed limit not the suggested speed to drive at"

most common reasons for failing the driving test - Google Search

Read up.

To add, the person who recommended setting your mirrors off is wrong ! You could be failed for incorrectly setting your mirrors. It would be classed as 'dangerous' as badly set mirrors could lead to you missing a situation developing behind you in your peripheral vision. Set them properly and use them correctly.

1984? Approaching junctions to quickly (in a Nissan Sunny!!! not mine I hasten to add although I had an Austin Metro as my first car ).

Failed the advanced driving test for the same thing 2 years later :o.

Should have tried again but I got a lot out of the training course; was worth doing.

I've got the exact problem with my youngster. Approaching junctions too slowly.

Roundabouts are proving to be a bit of a nightmare too....and not just for him!

Had some scary moments over the last 6 weeks.

The n/s front footwell is well and truly dented now.;)

I take it the word round doesn't come into the equation then!!!
