Guys

I have just ordered a Octavia Greenline Estate.

Go on, right or wrong thing to do ? All opinions welcome :-)

If it's the car you want you did the right thing, but, if it's the car you don't want, why the hell did you order it

Just make sure they paint it straight.

Just kidding.

I am also going through the decision process for a new companay car and had the Octavia Hatch Greenline near the top of my list but I am slightly swaying towards the Elegance now because it seems you get much more car in terms of extras with only a slight decrease in MPG compared to the Greenline. Also being a company car both the Elegance and Greenline fall into the same tax bracket of 13%.

My other choice of cars on my list are the Volvo V50 Drive with Stop/Start technology and a Golf SE Bluemotion. Not sure if the Golf will be big enough though for the 2 kids in the back but it does offer excellent MPG and low CO2 emissions.

I just need to make a decision !!

The Greenline Octavia is a silly car carlos. The fuel economy saving of 1.4mpg over the normal 1.6CR is just stupid. I strongly urge you to change the order to an Elegance.

I guess you could add the rear parking sensors and front fogs to your greenline order but you're still missing plenty of nice Elegance toys. The ones that I'd really miss would be the arm rest and the auto dimming mirror and auto wipers.

EDIT - I've just noticed the price difference between the Greenline and Elegance is only about 400 quid. With that in mind, it's a no brainer - cancel the Greenline and get the 1.6 CR Elegance. It's a much nicer car to be in, drive and look at.

:+1:

We had a Greenline Fabia2 1.4tdi as a demo car.... IIRC it had small 13" wheels on it..

Not nice to drive.... lots of bodyroll in the corners and on roundabouts, lots of them here

Much better drive in any other spec.... especially the Sport
