im going away tommorrow down south and i was just wondering which oil do i use to top up - if needed for my octavia vrs 1.8 petrol?

is it bog standard 10/40 oil like i think it is.?

If car is on variable service then longlife 5w30 oil.

If car is on standard fixed servicing then a 10w40 or even a 5w40 semi syn or fully syn oil.

I have Castrol Edge 10w60,and I'm thinking to buy VR1 (Valvoline) 10w60
