I was wondering at what milage do you guy change your diesel fuel filter?

Also How can I check how many miles to my next variable service?

Unless you're running biodiesel, it's pretty infrequent - your service manual will tell you. Your user manual OTOH will tell you how to check the predicted time and distance to your next variable service.

40-60k miles IIRC.

Its 40K for the fuel filter as i was told by my dealer

Filter kit from Euro Car Parts, Oil, Air, Fuel and Pollen - £29.00. So I change all 4 every year......why not ?

I checked my manual and is said the diesel filter was to be changed at 30k kms This is on a CR RS. So a bit confused...

I'll check the manual on how to check the miles to the variable service.

Rough running, damage to the injectors etc, car could stop if it gets blocked.
