new octavia fog lights

Featured Replies

hello guys

am having the new octavia 2009 facelift

i have 2 bubbles in each fog light, when i switch on the fog ligh only the bigger bubble is on while the small one ( at the corner) is always off, y is that ????????????

i have a fonction in the maxidot called assistant , where i can enable or disable something called corner assitant , but enabling it or not has no effect ????????

When you say has no effect, you need to have the headlights on (as if it was night time) and be turning the steering wheel.....one light should light up depending on what way your turning the wheel.

If not, would this feature need coding with Vagcom too?

Steve

The outer bulbs are for daylight running.I was puzzled when I got my similar car. They need to be activated by a dealer. They then come on when the engine is started - but can be switched off and on as per the handbook.

The daylight running lights can be turned on with VCDS/Vag-Com (09-Cent. Elect.).

Make sure you choose the Scandinavian option.

And one enabled, can then be toggled on/off at your desire via vagcom

or you can do something like this :)
