Mental Rear Wiper

Featured Replies

The wiper on my Octy has gone mad. Even though its not turned on it insists on wiping my rear window.

Any ideas anyone

i had the same problem on my octy vrs,it turned out to be water inside the motor,if you remove your tailgate trim, you will see the motor & if you remove the torx screws that hold the cover on & remove the cover(have a container under it to catch all the mucky water that will come out) then spray wd40 over the mechanism & a bit of grease on it & refit the cover & check the washer pipe for splits or a bad connection & you should be fine! however how long your motor will last i cant say....mine recently started going slower & slower & its packed in completley now so im looking out for a sechondhand motor!:)

Mine on the 1.9tdi did the same. Get it replaced, as mine stuck on , even though it was off on the stalk.
