My new Golf has the usual Mk3 rust on the arches, so I need them sprayed (and possibly rolled/pulled slightly), as well as a scab on the driver's door.

The rest of the paint is in damn good condition so I'm after a quality job!

Any recommendations?

I have used HB Panelcraft in Wellfield Road a couple of times now, and they have really done a superb job every time.

Which Wellfield Road? Google's showing two!

One is PR1, the other is PR5, Lostock Hall?

That's the one. If you approach from Strand Road traffic lights, head up Marsh Lane, then swing left at the next lights onto Wellfield Road instead of going onto the RIng Road. Up the hill, and Panelcraft are there on the left.

If it's any easier for you to get to, they also have another unit in Longton, between the Golden Ball and Walmer Bridge, just after Blundells Hardware shop

I think that one will be easier, I'm in Higher Bartle, on the way to Woodplumpton

Well... they were completely useless!

Flat out refused to touch the car, implying it was too old!

Tried SilverSpray on Aqueduct street, but they didn't have any work for me to look at, so I can't see if they're any good.

Isnt Karl Vella a big bodyshop? Its probably likely they wont touch it either.
