EGR Cleaning

Featured Replies

Hi peeps,

Has anyone got a quide on how to clean the EGR on the PD140 (or similar) units. Thinking about doing mine to solve a slight jolt im getting on low throttle.

Cheers!

Its on the inlet manifold with the trottle body......I think. Its a dirty job, I watched my mechanic do it and they got destroyed with the gunge that comes out, if your going to do it make sure you do the inlet manifold. You wont believe how dirty they are and the effects are very noticable after cleaning.

Agree also its a very dirty job.You will need carb cleaner for the EGR and possibly a scraper too for the inlet manifold.Wear old clothes you don,t need anymore  and plenty of rags.

Hope all goes well
