Is it possible to put a polo g40 engine into a felly?

yes but it will not drop straight in, you would need to make up a right hand engine mount.. and it would be easier if you used the skoda gearbox on it too, the g40 box wont go easily and the shafts would be the wrong length. also it would be a tight fit around the front where the supercharger sits, you may have to modify or move the radiator

How much power did these engines have? Will the gearbox/clutch cope with it?

As Tom says; he's done several transplants of other engines into Fellies.

The PY engine fitted to the Mark 3 Polo (2F) delivers 113 bhp although in the Mark 2 (86C) GT/G40 I think 115 bhp is quoted. Why not put it back in a Polo where it belongs ?!!
