Gash!

Care to expand? lol

Edit: Dont want to go down the Golf road with the old style amg etc...

To widely-spaced and spindly for what is, a fairly "chunky" car.

The brakes would look p!ss poor too :)

They will be getting uprated soon too something more attractive... I want 312's on the back. Poss RS4 breaks on the front

Also by the time you have adapters they could look a bit odd, but dont give up on merc rims.

They look good but 18's and expensive.

I ran 17x8 Merc alloys on my fabia for a while.

Why???? You'll struggle to get 256mm on the back, standards are suffcient for the power your running

It would be for looks/personal taste, I don't want huge breaks showing at the front and milk bottle caps at the back. I don't use the current breaks to full potential anyway. Plus I have considered the 'major' problems surrounding this and it doesn't seem that bad. I'm also putting 18's on and slamming her (after I get the arches sorted).

Not my cup of tea, but the Alphards look nicer. But its been done to often this style of modding. Your choice but not very original!

What?

How many Fabia's are there that run Merc alloys?

I've only ever seen 2.

Nah am talking about the vag group, in general, i thought about lambo ones on mine. But every time you flick threw fast car (ti7s n turbos) all you see is corsa's and saxos now running on merc wheels or porscher wheels. :thumbdwn:

Its sad but this man speakith the truth- only yesturday a local chav near me rolled past (I say rolled cause it clearly looked like he was out of fuel) past me a some shed- almost as worse as my rusty, on some old posche style rims that were/ are worth more then the car they wer attached to

Sorry, I thought you meant they had been played out on Fabia's.

When i was at VW Festival there were a few Golf's rocking Allphards right enough.

It would annoy me a bit if I was to spend all that cash on a set of wheels and find somone else at the same show had them.

I see what you mean.

its the same principle with banded steel wheels, on the right car they look fantastic, but the other day I had this burberry wearing ape behind me tailing me not stop. He was in a knackered out astra the old old old shape, with banded steels. I was like :( gutted! I guess its common tho, to much of a good thing ruins things but in this case they put them on stupid rudiee boy bargers!
