Hi, my 06 superb elegance has developed the dreaded windows opening themselves syndrome. Its happened twice during the night recently. What are the causes of this? Philip

One common problem is people putting the keys in their pockets and accidentally pressing the buttons when you sit down.

Thanks for the fast replies. Not the key fob, both times it was well away from the car. oh and I dont have a cat:) I suspect water getting somewhere but dont know where to start.

First place that anyone usually looks for water is under the carpets, usually the front passenger side where the computer control unit is. HTH.

Looked under the carpets today, all dry, no indication of water. Checked the drain holes under battery etc all clean. BTW even though the windows oped the doors remain locked.
