Trying to get the PS3 of grandson to link in to my TV , connected HDMI AND AV cables , but get no signal from the PS3 , is it a fault with the ps3 is there a reset button somwhere , getting real pain from him here all bankholiday weekend .!!!!

You should just need the HDMI cable connected to the tv make sure the tv is set on the right channel ie hd channel or game mode channel.

get rid of the av cable and just use the hdmi...

it also depends on what the playstation was setup to play on i.e if he has it on hdmi at home use hdmi cable if he uses scart then use scart...

and then should work with no problems:thumbup:

You will need to reset the ps3 display setting and the change for your tv. The easiest way to do this is simply press and hold the power on button until you hear a second beep.

That fixed it , why dont they tell you the reset option in the booklet , all works fine now thanks
