i am trying to buy an aftermarket vag-com interface to use it with ROSS-tech

after searching online i found vag-com interface 805.1

which one is the best to be used with the ross-tech software

There are no legal aftermarket VCDS (Vag-Com) leads.

Both 805.1 and 812.4 require a genuine Ross-tech lead which includes an embedded dongle (license).

You may find cheap Chinese fakes/copies, but don't expect them to work more than once and you can't update the firmware.

Personally I wouldn't touch VAG-COM, because unless you know exactly what you're doing with it, you could end up with more trouble than what it's worth.

I think you should leave this stuff alone, especially as I expect your car is still under warranty, you go fiddling with it, you could void it and then get a massive bill to rectify what you've done.
