I find the steering on the Fabia II (2008 model, 1.9PD) a little over-assisted.

I know that on the Fabia I the amount of assistance could be reduced by recoding the PAS ECU (as per the very useful guide here: ECU/Convenience Unit Coding Options fabia-vrs.com - The Comprehensive Fabia vRS Resource Site )

The question is, will this also work on a 2008 Fabia II ?

Fundamentally its the same car so yes you can, setting it heavier gives you a better road feel too and gives you a bit of a better handling feel IMHO, I have changed it on mine to be a bit heavier

I think there was a post somewhere about someone else doing it on their Fabia II and liking it too
