Hi Guys, hopefully some one can advise me.....

Had the annoying relay clicking in the centre of the dash so have replaced the indicator stalk,

cured the annoying clicking, but now i have got the airbag warning lamp on as i may have switched the ignition on while the steering wheel/airbag was removed disconected!! Doh:(

Iam considering getting vag-com as the car is getting on a bit now but after reading a few of the faqs on ross tech it seems that i may need th pro version to deal with this issue??

Is this a simple reset as nothing has fired or is it a major pita?

It's easy to do, but you need a licensed version of VCDS as basic settings/adaptions are not available in the shareware version.

[15 - Airbags]

[security Access - 16]

Enter 30475, to enable the basic setting.

[Do it!]

[Adaptation - 10]

Channel 000

[Read]

[save]

[Done, Go Back]

[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]

Battery off for a few hours, not 100% it will cure it but it's free.

Supurbia thanks for a cheap suggestion, however i havent got my radio code dont think i like the idea of not having no choonz.

Allthou it may have to do, the mrs wasnt to happy with me wanting to spend £250. squid on some software:eek:
