You checked the battery?

Light on dash coming on?

Any click from the starter?

If the battery is fine and the lights on the dash and all electrics work but there is no click from the starter then I would guess at the ignition switch. A common fault with Favs and Fellys.

Could be your ignition switch as mentioned by Phil. (on the barrel) The other thing to check is how dirty your key is - lots of muck builds up in the middle of the key and can effect the engaging of it in the ignition barrel. I had this with my Felicia and kept trying and holding the key and it would eventually work.
