Right,

originally ordered a Skoda Octavia VRS TSI Estate in race blue, with the following options...

xenons

front and rear parking sensors

auto dimming interior mirror, auto lights, etc

sunset glass

silver roof rails

spare full size wheel

MDI

Maxidot

Heated seats

full leather

variable boot floor

However, I have now changed this and dropped the full leather and gone with DSG. Drove a DSG car at the weekend and it was AMAZING!!!! I know everyone has their preferences and views on manual vs DSG but for me it was very satisfying. A quick search shows the Golf GTi drivers are raving about it too. Get the better steering wheel too with radio controls...

After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module. Basically the car continually tries to phone home and drains the battery, the tailgate control module is acutely sensitive to voltage meaning that if the car has sat for more than a day (sometime less) th

Hello, I activated Smart Link on my swing 3 radio, at Skoda Octavia mk3 MY 2018, so I want to share with everyone how it can be done. DISCLAIMER: You do it at your rensponsability, is not easy to do, and you can mess things out, possible brick you device. Do it only if you have expereince in this kind of activity. Physical tools needed: Tool for removing radio 4 pieces, just google "VAG radio removal tool", cost about 1€. CH341A Mini Programmer, cost about 10€. PC/Laptop Philips screwdriver

I have a 2014 diesel octavia estate 1.6 blk edition. Lately, and since service my mpg is alot lower than normal. I understand my car is old but recently ive noticed im using more fuel. Ive asked my usual mechanic and hes replied with the expected answer i thought hed suggest which is weather, tyres, speed, fuel prices and that mpg is never ro be trusted. Im not taking fuel prices into consideration as im seeing my fuel being used up more. Mpg today has been 34,on a route i normally use and get
