Blaupunkt headunits or Pioneer headunits (in particular the 77MP) mounted in Skoda's in particular Fabia [vRS's] that they could show me. I am either going to get a Pioneer 77MP or Blaupunk of some description in the near future, but I wish to know how they look in the Skodas.

Also, any comments on the sound quality - it will be mainly playing dance/trance music.

My new Pioneer 8400 is top notch - just need to do some fiddling with the audio bit to get it right. No piccie yet though.

I've got a blaupunkt in my car (not a skoda) and I quite like it, the newer ones look better too. Only thing that annoyed me about this head unit is ya need extra cables for preouts etc..

Seems to look quite good, that headunit definitely seems to fit suit the Fabia interior. I also like the look of some of the black blaupunkt units, in particular the Woodstock one with the varicolour screen but thats like

Rooboy, that headunit looks so much better than I expected in the Fabia. How does it sound? Do you have the standard speakers, do you have a sub?

It sounded ok with the std speakers, a definate improvement over the std radio. I now have some pioneers in the front and it sounds even better. (It also records the DAB radio signal for any songs you may like). Not bothered with a sub as I prefer rock music and the noise I can get out of the set up I have is enough for me (Still clear on full volume).

Top notch headunit

77MP if you want decent sound quality with or without amplifiers.

Does the Pioneer offer better SQ than say a Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB52 without an amp?
