hi first time ,,hope everybody is well ,my skoda has a problem with the temp sender the guage is not moveing ihave replaced the green sender still no joy the thermostat seems to have a sensor built into it ,i cannot find one of these in the manual,the car is a octavia 1.6 sri/bfq the fan keeps comming on the warning lights are on in the dash ,dose anyone know where i would get one of these thermostats and the houseing with the sensor plug in it..... thank you.

you can buy this as a complete unit with switch thermostat etc for around 70 quid part number 06a 121 111

Yes i got that part today ,, fitted it and all is fine ,, the car is running great now ,all the warning lights are gone out ,,great stuff...

If the car has the BFQ engine does it not have the 2-Pin Grey temp sender, not the 4-Pin Green one?

that would be correct the bfq has 06a 919 501 a fiited which is now a 2 pin black

the thermostat that i got was from an audi A3 I had the same problem with the sensor for the cooling fan that is diffrent to the one in the mannual ,,the thermostat came fitted into the housing as one part i fitted it and its fine so i think that the engine is the same as in the bora and A3...
