My drivers seat is doing my head in, it squeeks like mad when i move around on it!

Is there a fix for this? Is it common?

Get some white lithium spray grease and spray the pivot points for the height adjusters on the seat mechanism. If you raise it as high as it goes you should be able to access them easily I think. I had to do the same on my Elegance when I first got it and the seat is still silent 7 months on.

my front seats creak quite heavily when i throw the car into a corner (throwing the driver the other way). living with it at the moment, if anyone knows if theres anything i can do I'd appreciate it.

Yes, lubricate the height adjusting mechanism and it should fix it!
