Hi mate, I got my Whiteline RARB from DPM performance for a very reasonable price.

Worth a look :)

Been covered loads- try the search! Got a Whiteline on mine and it's great! Awesome GTI sell a couple of different brands.

also got a whiteline 22m adjustable one from balancemotor sport

great bit of kit, made a hell of a difference and i tested it out at the ring

for 140 quid you cant go wrong, plus it takes 30 mins to fit

Hi,

I too am looking for a RARB for my VRS MkI Estate, I've done loads of searches and read various threads, from what I've seen the Whiteline seems to sit a bit low compared to the Eibach although I have only seen the Eibach available as a pair, i.e. front and reat kit.

If anyone has the Eibach fitted I'd be interested to know where they got it from and how much it cost.

Cheers

the whiteline does sit low but i cant see how that would mater as the travel on the suspension wouldnt cause it to get any lower

you would need to hit something pretty severe to catch it and im sure you dont go driving off road that much lol

eibach kit is around 240 i think and the nuespeed is similar

I have a 25mm eibach rear and i bought mine on german ebay, you can buy similar sized neuspeed (or thicker at 28mm too) autotech bars and possibly even KW do them now.

The eibach bar does sit flush along the rear beam and in the way it mounts to the bottom of the struts.

Buy the kit and sell the front to a mk4 golf owner or a leon cupra owner on one of their forums as the front arb is a common mod for them to do.

you can buy just the rear from balancemotorsport but its 276 quid

but phone them up and say your on briskoda, they should do you a deal

which rear for £276 stew?

the eibach front and rear kit is around £270 but you should get at least £100 for the front, there is a used eibach front arb on mk4.net for £80 at the mo.

I would buy this however (autotech)

MJM Autohaus

or (neuspeed)

MJM Autohaus

the autotech is lighter as is tubular and works out around 145, then shipping plus vat and import tax its still probably still only £200 ish which is much less than the neuspeed bar here!

the h + r one for front and back is 380 from balance

and the nuespeed is 227 for the 28 mm for awesome

i bought the whiteline from balance and it was £145 quid for the 22 mm adjustable one

sorry got my numbers mixed up lol

lol, the H&r kit is very good though!!!

the awesome prics for the neuspeed bar is plus vat though so is around £270ish in total

Yeah that's why I opted for the whiteline bit of kit

I didn't there would be that much noticable difference for the money

If you are going to hit the whiteline you will also hit the bottom shock mount as it sits at the same height. As these parts sit pretty close to the wheel, I would be very surprised of any contact.

All these RARB are much the same but have a varied cost to them that if this is your criteria Whiteline is a cheaper option.

I have the Whiteline, but I would love the Autotech one as that looks very nice.

The Neuspeed are also sweet looking.

Hi, I've had the whiteline bar on for 2 or 3 years now and it hasn't hit anything as far as I know. I was concerned at first so stopped on a couple of those part-road-width speed humps, jumped out and looked under to check the clearance. Surprising how little difference it actually makes to the overall clearance of the car.

Anyway, taking mine off soon as car's going for trade in, so if anyone in the Edinburgh area fancies a used ARB cheap. It might need new U-clamps though, as the threads on those look a bit rusty (these clamps attach the arb bushes to the rear beam).
