Has anyone fitted this sport exhaust from superspint on their VRS tdi?

I’m bringing up this “old†tread since I found this video.

Has anyone fitted the same exhaust on a vrs tdi with the same sound result?

It’s practically the same engine in the seat and the Skoda right?

I really love the oval style exhaust from Supersprint and would certainly have the backbox on my vRS come summer when I get it. The dual pipe VAG just bore me and are so over used throughout the VAG range. The vRS should at least have a mk2 Cupra style oval box IMO.

I did quiz Skoda about the warranty on the car if I changed the backbox and the chap said the warranty would be void on the replacement exhaust (fine) and also if there were any issues with DPF and engine management which I think is ridiculous.

There us a real opportunity for Skoda to introduce A Skoda Motorsport division that could offer sporting upgrades. Brembos, subtle styling kits, exhaust options and dampner options not just springs. I know tuning upgrade packages are frowned upon inside VAG but the above would be a start and I feel quite a few would tick the Brembo box and maybe the upgraded dampner one too.

Very interesting. I didn't realise Supersprint were making DPF delete downpipes....
