Disabling windows opening with key in lock?! (05 Fabia)

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I have heard recently that people have somehow been breaking into VAG cars by opening the windows via the door lock, like you can with your key.

This has worried me as I live in a built up area and I would like to disable this function if it is possible (Fabia 2005) and would like to know how to do it!?!?! Ive only been able to disable the function via the Remote Control.

I have a fully registered and up to date VAG-COM, and have had no luck :(

For owners of a MKII Octavia who are also concerned can do this via the coding funtion and the long coding helper in Central Convenince (46). Managed to do this to my friends car earlier.

Thanks for any help, would be much appriciated!
