Howdo!

At the mo, I've only got my laptop screen for editing photos to go with my new photography hobby. Am thinking of getting an LCD screen (22" ideally) so I can see more and see the colours better, especially when playing with the RAW files.

Can anyone recommend a good screen under £200 which would be good for this, as I know some ones are great for gaming, but not for editing photos as the resolution and colour reproduction isn't that good??!!

Any suggestions gratefully received!

The ones I've seen that are good at colour reproduction are the eizio.

For £200 you're not going to find a good 22" LCD with spot on colour reproduction.

More expensive, I know, but how does this stack up

These are the sort of things you're going to be looking at if you really care about colour accuracy.

The Lacie and apple cinema displays are not half bad either.

If it's just for a bit of fun and you don't mind that the colours on screen vs on printer don't quite match then it's a different ball game.
