Lowering my Octavia (slightly)... Camber check?

Featured Replies

I have aquired springs from a diesel VRs and I want to put them into my car. I have been told that after "lowering" the car will need to have it's camber checked and adjusted accordingly.

Will fitting the VRs springs all round require a camber check and possibly adjustment? Or does this only apply when you lower the car dramatically?

ive got a 57 plate tfsi vrs which i lowered when it was only 3months old with 1500 miles on the clock its now got 10,000 miles it was lowered 30mm with eibach springs and ive never had a problem and i drive it HARD!

And you haven't had the camber checked? How is your tyre wear?

Sorry to hi-jack, can I ask where you got your -30mm Eibachs?

sorry its been a time for my reply my rear tyre wear is spot on and i mean spot on, , as for the second question i found out of my parts manager the said springs are -25 mm sorry for the confusion, the eibach springs came from the place i work ( rainworth skoda ) i work there as a techy, we used to fit a lot of lowering eibach springs on octys and fabias but we never had any faults with tyre wear, like i said sorry for the confusion.
