New Alloys

Featured Replies

Had 4 new alloys fitted on my 56 plate VRS yesterday by dealers under warranty,1 had fair bit of under paint corrosion others all right. asked if i could have old ones but they send them back to Skoda for examination to find the cause.Still im chuffed to get all four fitted for free.

Good for you!

I was slightly tempted to try this when my Fabia was under warranty but having to purchase another set whilst the original set was sent off to Skoda was a put off.

There's been others who have tried and succeeded at this - just possibly goes to show that there has been an issue with the Fabia vRS alloys finish since production.

I'll probably get mine refurbed idc.

originally turned down as dealers photos werent clear enough so i took photos myself which were much better and they accepted without a problem thankfully.

Got ours swapped over under warranty no problem at all. I had noticed what is best described as 'spiders legs' appearing under the paint on two of the wheels and asked the garage if it would be covered under the warranty. They took a good look and said they'd do all four (they pointed out that the other two were starting to go the same way). Happy days! Another thumbs up to West End Garage
