VRS Re-map

Featured Replies

I have been thinking of getting this done but am wondering what difference it makes to the MPG as just now i get about 42 on the motorway and about 30 about town.

What does it do to the car with regards to 50-80 times etc?

you will find a good remap will improve your mpg when not giving it beans

but will decrease when really on it as you will be using more fuel...

not to sure on the times but its amassive bang for bucks mods should see 30bhp and a chunk of torque..

go do it it changes the car to how it should have left the factory:thumbup:

You must be very careful with the pedals then to get over 40mpg. :D

I just did a run from Scarborough to Castleford and back today and have a RS Tuning custom map. In the crazy 60mph head winds and madness of Saturday traffic we managed to get an average of 38.2 mpg according to the trip computer. I have managed 42mpg occasionally, but not at motorway speeds.

As for the 50-80mph oomph, I can't possibly say as the legal limit is 70mph.... However, I should imagine it to be very impressive, especially in 5th gear.

There must be a bunch but Angel Tuning have someone in Troon and get a good rep. I believe Chipped UK have a place in Bothwell. I think Revo are in Glasgow too - expensive but good.
