The DRLs on my TSi Elegance F/L have yet to be activated via VAGCom and at present do not appear within the Maxidot menu. There appears to be some conflicting information once these have been set up. Obviously, once set up, they can be turned off or on via the indicator stalk .What is unclear is, does the function to turn them off or on appear within the Maxidot menu once the VAGCom activation has been carried out. There appears to be some conflicting information with this. :confused:

Yep and following that thread I assumed that it did not appear on the Maxidot menu. Now someone has thrown the proverbial spanner in the works by stating it does appear on the Maxidot following VAGCom activation. So which is correct, must be either one or the other?

Guess the answer it to get it activated and see.

Last week I went to the dealer to have after-market xenon lights installed. Since they needed to use the vag-com to set them up, I also asked them to activate the daylight function. They explained how to turn them on and off using the stalk indicator but this method is a little complicated. Luckily, the option also appeared on the maxi-dot menu which is so much easier to use. I'm not sure if the maxi-dot info was activated because of the xenon light installation or only from the daylight activation.
