I might be wrong but I think we've see this car before!!!!

it was off chris, ye, from swindon. gear knob seems standard, and i didnt get any green lights, the interior lights seem really bright. but nothing else from that. im keeping it very clean. the clocks have a chip in them which i didn like, but thats it. i dont use it for work so it dont get ruined by all the dust. im wanting some nice interior for it

its on 34,500 miles now.

I was wondering what a red, rather than chrome, grille would look like. I think I'd like to see an all black grille (on red coachwork) too for comparison.

im getting the wheels done in black, so with a black grill might look good

on the boot the car had a respray for some reason, the paint cracked under the standard spoiler, also i was bit gutted to find the paint is cracking all along the roof which is sad for a 3.5 year old car

See if someone can photochop this:

...another from Damo's private collection! Plenty more where that came from! :D

A good idea! I have the 'facelift' so if I take a pic and try red or black on it.

Nice car :)

Sorry to hear that the paint seems to be cracking :(

It was fine when I had it

Hope you have many miles of happy motoring with her

Cheers

Damo

ps the alloys are not BBS CH's but VZ033's (CH's but without the daft writing :D)

No and no. Black wheels on a red car DO NOT look good. Looks absolutely cracking as it is. I wouldn't change a thing.

^^ agreed.

Black on yellow works, white on black works.

Would be a shame to spoil those lovely wheels :)

Yes, they are genuine BBS, but not CH's, they are BBS VZ033's

Can't help you regarding the paint, like I said it was fine when I had it

Of course you want to put your own style into the car, you do what you want, but I have to say the wheels look fine as they are.

Maybe a vRS interior, retrimmed in leather would be my first mod.

Anything you need to know, feel free to PM me, and if I can help I will.

Look after her

Cheers

Damo :)

Damo :)

i will look after her, i love it. few lil things i dont but all cars have those "few lil things"... i cant afford a VRS TDI so this is next best thing. im wanting new interior and a hybrid turbo, and prob have to get roof resprayed unless its coverd by skoda? some ppl cover body and paint for ten years i heard. i want cruise control fitted to. so many things so little money aaaarrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhh

im wanting new interior and a hybrid turbo

 Exactly what I was going to do if I had kept it

I had it all priced up for big turbo and remap, with uprated clutch fitted for £2k all in.

Would have made 215bhp with shed loads of torque and do 155mph  (EddyH had the same work done on his Audi 2.0TDi and recommended it to me)

Glad to see you have good things in store for her anyway :)

Cheers

Damo

Looks nice, mmmmm leather :D.

here is a few updates on the octavia

Car now has leather trim,

cruise control fitted, not working yet.

car was crashed into at rear and the W@£ker drove off, then somebody decieded to drag a key from the front wing all the way to the rear light :(

car has had a full rear spray and a full drives side spray, althought the spray shop did there best to keep everything matching if u look and look and look u can notice a small bit

my mates cant but i know its there so i do, that paint work damage cost me £450 in total. in very annoyed over it. and tempted to sell car

with wheels getting done in black i get mixed views, its love it or hate it. i have red rim tape which ill add once snow goes and stuff, wheels are mat black, if i get sick of them i can always go back, to silver.

i will get pics up once weather is better.

i have a spare £1k lying around if i dont sell it ill be considering using it to up the bhp

when i got the car sprayed it was brought to my attention that this car has been sprayed before for what ever reason, as the the rear bumper used to be silver and the rear quater was painted with out a clear based coat over the red. so there is some hidden truths out this car. would be nice to find out what really happened
