I don't really hang out much in this section, so apologies to those that have already seen this picture. I know how annoying re-posts can be! I just spotted this while browsing superskoda, and fell in love with it. When the mk1 reaches the grand old age of 10, I know what I want!

The FL vRS has managed to pull off a classy yet agressive look. Which is a hard thing to do, especially if you're Ford or Subaru!

I saw a white police FL VRS this morning which looked particularly fine.

Skoda definitely did a good job improving the appearance with the FL

Howdy Mart! From the looks of things it's just the new honeycombe grill and grill surround, and some grey/silver mirror housings. Looks really smart I think.

I've always disliked the Milotec de-badged upper grills on the mk1 (looks like a loaf of Hovis to me!), so I was shocked to find a new grille that looked so damn good on a car.

Sorry, but for me it looks awful.:eek: It does look as though they have forgotten to put the grill on at all. Does not help I can'nt stand black :thumbdwn:

Agreed. No point having a car that looks 'aggressive' in the rear-view mirror and not have the badge to show they've just had their *** whooped by a Skoda.

The grille could pass for any old chav-mobile.

Nope, it's got that bottle nosed dolphin look again - just like most of the aftermarket grilles I see on Skodas

Don't mind the other tweaks particularly, but then it's pretty good as std! Maybe a touch of colour coding, depending on the colour, but then I'd stop I think.

Silver door mirror covers (are they mounted on the 'wing'? No.) -argh. Makes me think 'wingnut' :eek:

As to the front grille; its not that bad when you compare it with some of the grilles/front bumpers that can be bought from SuperSkoda BUT IMHO you should stick to the OE grille and perhaps colour code it.
