Tried ebay but they are like $70 (plus $15 SH) plus whatever I need to pay to get it shipped from US to my country (like 15 more)

Theres a skoda part for the superb (green buttons) and a VW version (red buttons). I guess the color doesnt matter that much 4 me cause the leds can be desoldered and changed.

I dont know if its available at UK lol (pretty sure it is at ebay), but if it is, I want a cheap one shipped to the US

The W8 ones are about £30 from the dealers for the non-sunroof versions, so I guess that the Superb version (with green button illumination) will be about the same from a UK Skoda dealer.

would this automatcally connect into the instrument lighting circuit or would extra wiring in be needed.

Also would it be availible in grey to match vrs roof lining? I love little things that light up....

No, an extra wire needs running down to the headlight switch and an adapter lead is required as the plug on the car is different to the W8/Superb light (that Ebay one looks like it comes complete).

I can't remember how dark the headlining is on the Fabia vRS, but I think that those lights only come in either beige or the light grey used on the normal Fabias / Octavias etc.

The headlining is what put me off when I had my Fabia. The vRS has a black lining, so you'd have to spray the light and I thought it would be really fiddly to mask off the button illumination etc, so I never bothered!

Pretty straight forward, and you can buy the looms ready made up too - I went as far as getting that made, so I guess I should buy one eventually and fit it to whatever I have at the time; will have to keep buying VAG stuff

Why don't you ask a UK Skoda dealer if they will ship one out to you?

Some of them have Ebay shops too (Pulman Skoda for one).

I don't think that they are much more expensive than that to buy new. Then you would just need the adapter lead which is available from Kufatec on German Ebay and I think he ships worldwide.
