Cleaning stains from polycarbonate headlights.

Featured Replies

My superb (with xenons if it makes a difference) has some staining on the plastic lenses of the headlights... which I'm 99% sure are on the inside.

I would like to try and clean them up and I have found a guide for removing the lenses but I'm not sure if the stains will come off?

It's quite faint but noticable when close, they're pale brown patches... Any thoughts?

Removing Head Lamp outer lenses for me is a no no as it goes against what I do for a living but I appreciate that there are people wanting to do this, if you wish to get the lens off and manage to do this then I would just be careful you don't wreck any other internal components but once off then you should have no problem cleaning these marks.........:o

Thanks for that. .. . I think I might leave it then. I was a bit concerned about removing the lenses and certainly don't want to go breaking anything, given the cost of the units!

cheers
