where can I get a vrs grill?

Featured Replies

Hi, I had a wee shunt in my non fl Vrs and now I need a new front grill, it's just the black plastic bit. I have searched on ebay but there is nothing and a quick search online was unsuccessful. Does anyone know where I could get this part and how easy it is to replace it? Thanks in advance.

I would try your local dealer. Fitting is fairly easy.

Thanks, I have found one on SuperSkoda website but i will contact my dealer to find out if they are any cheaper.

Main radiator grille part number is (1Z0 853 668 B41) it abaut £25+vat from dealer

It's a very simple job to remove the grille-

1 Open bonnet

2 Remove torx screw from rear of skoda badge (under bonnet)

3 Release securing clips (i used a socket to squeeze the clips)

4 Remove grille - be careful not to break lower lugs in bottom of bonnet

5 Next you need to remove the chrome surround from old grille

6 Remove the securing clips from grille - you'll need these to refit grille

7 CAREFULLY prize the chrome clips away from backing

8 Once clips are free the only thing that holds the chrome to grille are three long runs of trim tape

9 Remove any traces of tape

10 Refit in reverse order
