Can anyone tell if there would be any benefit if changing the head on the vRS AUQ engine for the larger port head from say an AGU but i have head you would have to swap the cams from the AUQ engine into the new head.

I am currently only running a Stage 1 Generic map and a larger intake. Looking to get exhaust/cat in near future. Then hopefully k04 route.

Just wondered if it's worth doing this chage now or if it's pointless until going GT28/IHI turbo route ?

Not much point mate, even with a gt28 or IHI it wont make a great deal of difference, 10 - 20bhp and 15-20 ibs/ft torque. The large port only makes sense when you go REALLY big i.e. gt30 or the Owens hybrid.

If you did though you would have to swap all the parts over (including inlet/exhaust manifolds) to get it to work properly.

You can get a good price on those AGU's as they are getting increasingly rare!!;)
