hi.i got a knock and a scraping sound at the moment (knock when turning wheel slightly while stationary) (scrape when accelerate/decelerating). noticed when the wheels are turned the arb spins a little there is no side to side movement though, should it. also has anybody else had problems with steering arms couplings where it joins onto the rack(underneath the rubber gator) because the skoda indi recons this is the knocking problem. think the scrap is a bush going noise sounds like its coming from under gear knob/radio area- dog bone bush i think but had it out looks ok(no cracking of rubber) could it have just got over worn so moves too much which causes the noise?

track rods can fail (the bit under the steering rack gaitor), not a difficult job to do, but may require re-tracking after fitment
