Brake Light Part Number

Featured Replies

Alright everyone!

Can anyone tell me what bulb part number i need to replace my brake lights, some of the bulbs have different pin alignments and the ones the missus bought from Hlafords dont fit.

P21w :)

That's what's in the book but thinking about it,it means nothing to me.

If it's 15mm diameter with parallel pins it's BA15s,the generic number is 382.

If it's got angled pins it's BAU15s.(567)

These are both the standard long indicator or stoplight bulbs.

Have a look here:

There should be a book in Halfords at the bulb section where you can look them up,she prob made the fatal mistake of asking someone..:D

Yep, I think as Fodenman says, it is just a standard 21w bulb, same as rear fog and reversing lights. I expect your misses has come home with either a tail bulb (5w) or a combined stop/tail (21/5w)
