Ordered my new FL VRS last week and still haven't had a build date yet. How long does it normally take??

I phoned my dealer a week later and he had my build date by then.

Should be available now. Give the dealer a call. Delivery should be build week plus around 3 weeks.

I ordered my FL vRS on 21/09/09 and still no confirmed build date (although dealer has said it's on the system as planned for week 47). Maybe it's a difficult spec (petrol, estate, manual + sunroof). Time will tell. It certainly takes the shine off buying a new car but fingers crossed it turns up in time for christmas - I'll forgive all then.

Odered my Octava RS FL last Tuesday (27 Oct 2009). Got a built date on 29 Oct 2009. Was told thatthe car would start to be builton the week commencing 23 Nov and dealer is hoping tohave the car here (Ireland) in the last week of December or first week of Jan 2010

I ordered last monday evening with Heat Seats, maxidot and mdi - still haven't got a build date - boo. The dealer told me it was maybe because of the odd spec!!!

Fingers crossed for some news tomorrow.
