This makes for some interesting ready. I'm certainly pleased with my use of Victoria and Collinite and I'll continue to use them

Biggest Wax Test Ever - Detailing World

Cheers,

was suprised with 476 :o

i thought it was suppose to be the most durable and highlighted/ supported wax atm *sigh

and as for my recently purchased blue velvet :rotz: no comment lol

I still find 476 to be excellent for durability, it's just that a friend of mine gets as good longevity results with 915, along with an arguably better finish - so the results certainly hold true for me, in that regard - independent verification if you will :)

Interesting reading there Steve.

Poor showing from the Dodo Juice products l thought.

Certainly suprised by the Victoria Concourse as well. I've always thought it lasted very well for a relatively soft wax and that test confirms my thoughts.

Hmm, I was really looking forward to seeing how Collinite 845 made out - it's there in the initial application but then never gets another mention!

Been on DW for a while that thread and obviously a lot of products not included but goes to show that some of the waxes really don't do much for durability............note no Zaino on show but then it's not in wax form...........:D

Oh yeah, totally - and it's never going to be possible to give a complete overview on every product either :)

But interesting nonetheless, and good to highlight the better threads on DW, for people to have a look at specifically

And hopefully it'll highlight a few products that aren't quite as good as the marketing would have people believe :)

I have to say i put a sealant on and then two coasts or more of the colli 476s.

Certainly the 476 doesn't do so well if you just put a single coat on (3-4 months) but if you put two on, it has not failed to be beading well after the winter months.

Still different people and different things, but any of the waxes that lasted 3 months plus is better than the wash and wax that many people use.

I can't say I'm surprised by the dodo, but then I never rated them as a long life product.
