Not nice weather to be detailing in at all but a nice motor to be working on:

UDM vs Audi A3 (8P) S-Line........ - Detailing World

Have to say that I do like Audi's, there is just something about the build quality and styling............

that's a very nice car, and as usual, a top job. Wish I had the money for you to do mine...:-(

Blooming 'eck!! Hope the owner lookes after it better now

Cracking job as all ways

Great work, Simon. :)

My friend used to have an A3, and you're right - they are lovely (even if theirs had a foible where every time you went over a bump, the glovebox opened - I live somewhere where there's a lot of potholes..!).

Hi Simon. Wow - nice gloves mate!!! LOL

Nice work as always and that black came up well.

Hope all is going well in the new pad. I like that gazebo too!

Cheers,

Ste

That was in a right state! Hope they got a stern Baker talking to :D

Good job

Your loving the gloves aren't you, ordered some black ones now from a fellow DW member so I will be 'back to black' in future threads........

The owner has someone valet the car every month and I asked if they used a sponge and chamois which I was told no they don't, they use a brush..........

Have a feeling I may see this one in the future again.......:)

You should try out some Sealskins - they're bloody epic :D

Monthly valet?! Blimey, didn't look like it. So are they going to continue to use the same valeting place?! Don't particularly like outcomes like this; the very least I expect is that they then get hand washmitted after the detail, otherwise what's the point really? They've got the car back up to a good standard, and then it'll just slide again....

Steve

I can't believe that's been monthly valeted. You just couldn't get that much dust and dirt around the dash and centre console in a month surely? The 'with a brush' thing is amazing.

Interesting gloves there Steve, I have managed to source a couple of boxes of these bad boys:

Midknight Black Large Nitrile Gloves (Case of 1000) | Overstock.com

Know what you mean about the valeter but there is only so much preaching you can do, if people want to do what's easier for them then so be it and if I have to put it back to tip top coniditon in 6 months then I guess that's all I can do..........:o

Sure is mate...........

To be fair there weren't that many scratches and fine swirls on the paintwork, apart from the rear bumper but then I guess it is only a couple of years old.........

Yep, think they did that update/facelift, along with that wheel choice from an 07 onwards.

The Sealskins are ace really, dead useful for a whole range of stuff - I use them out on my bike in the winter, plus the obvious car washing duties :) A bit pricey some might say, but you get what you pay for really
