I was considering de-badging the boot on my car, but am a bit concerned it will have faded due to its age.

It's a 2001 (so almost 9 year old) metallic silver Fabia, but I don't know if silver is good/bad for fading, or would it depend upon how the paint was cared for etc?

Any input appricatied.

Silver won't really fade, but it will tire.

A good mildly abrasive polish topped with a wax should sort it nicely.

Yeah, something like Scatch-X should do it
