Just confirmed I get a New Octavia 1.6 (102hp) Classic in Silver this saturday!, To be hinest could'nt justify the expense of the FSI. The reason I am getting one is that they gave me one as a courtesy car while mine was being fixed, the man said "Sorry!!! We only have a brand new octavia for you", Sorry??? I was so amazed at theat car as soon As I got back they had one exactly the same in stock, so I've left the Fabia Club, and I'm Into the Octavia now!!

Hopefully this will be a bit less troublesome and a bit more powerful than the Fabia Btw, shouldn't this be in the "New Octavia" forums?

There have been a number of posts in the Facebook Skoda Karoq Owners Group recently related to the appearance on the infotainment screen when starting the car of a message about Data Tracking. I too have had this but it has now stopped. Then a new longer message referring to EU data protection and sharing - that was the gist I think as I didn’t take a photo and it’s no longer being displayed. I think I may have “OK d” both messages and that perhaps stopped them being displayed. Any way leading o

Adding this for anyone that comes across the same issue. Noticed a slightly extended crank a day or so ago, along with a few seconds worth of poor idle and then ran as normal. Checked for codes, and none showing. Checked plugs when I got home again and all ok. Checked the lpfp count and was at or around 50% at idle. No hesitation or misfires and none detected on scanner. Rail holding pressure within parameters and both lpfp and hpfp showing requested and actual pressures where they should b

Hello, recently my air conditionor kinda stopped working. In the morning or in the evening everything works just fine, normal operation. In the middle of the day, being hot outside (30 to even over 40 degrees outside temperature), when i start the car, for 10-20 seconds everything works, after that a noise like a buzz starts to hear from around the middle of the car. The fan for air conditioning and heater on my 2006 Octavia Mk2 L&K is not working. I have checked the fuses and they are OK. Does it have a relay that might have failed? I am hoping it is not the fan unit itself, as this seems to be peculiar to RHD models with climatronic and was discontinued by Skoda in 2022. (Part no. 1K2 820 021).

Hi All, We've got an issue with the electric boot (the version without the virtual pedal). It's a 70 plate that has been owned by us from new. From when it was a few months old, the boot will not open intermittently. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's opened by the button on the boot itself, the button in the driver's door or the button on the key fob.
