Hi,after only recently realising you can turn off the multi display, I've been driving with it off, esp. when in the dark! The dash looks better imo without it but there is a bit of hole between speedo and tacho. It would look better if the display was green to match everything else.

Any thoughts?

Got to say I quite like the maxidot in the Octavia. I had a MKV Golf, with the same display, but in red and find the Skoda version much easier on the eye.

Think the colour blends well with the other instruments in the dash pod, but can look a bit odd when compared to stream stereo display.

I'm just glad mine came with it, as it looks better than a non-maxidot display. If only the dension ipod kit would integrate with it properly !

Not much help, but all white on the FL models so it looks good.

Mine does. What's the problem ? The only issue I've got is that the time for the tracks goes backwards whereas on the audio screen it goes forwards, as it should.

I have the same problem as a few other do. Unit works fine for around 2 weeks, then after a short stop (after a long journey) the ipod is no longer shown in the Maxi-dot menu. Same thing has happenened on two units now... Waiting for a firmware update from Dension.... fingers crossed !

I've had this happen once and unplugged it then replugged it and it's been fine but yours sounds more like a build problem to me.
