Does anybody know how to get the turbo to do it's 'self check' using vagcom? i know it can be done but don't want to start searching around incase i do something bad.

And also what results i would expect.. Fabia vRS :)

You can get VCDS to move the VNT actuator. Is that what you mean?

possibly?? all i have been told is my veins might be sticking and by putting it on vagcom i could see?

Much easier to just shine a torch down the back of the engine ;) The actuator rod sticks up off the turbo and you can wiggle it in and out from the turbo, which moves the veins. Doing it by hand also helps to "feel" the stickiness, rather than relying on vagcom readouts.
