Octavia VRS 110K Service cost???

Featured Replies

I have just had dash say service due in 1k.My car has had full service every 10k and last service new belt fitted. In the last 4months i have put new pads all round. There appears to be no probs and car running fine.

Can anyone advise me on cost of this service and best place near Wisbech,Cambs to look at having it done?

Thanks

Don't be a slave to the "service schedule"!

For me...

Brakes, tyres, suspension, lights and safety stuff are all obvious to check and maintain yourself on a weekly "if it's broke fix it" basis.

Engine oil, oil filter, air filter all get done at 10k or 12months (I'd guess that's all your car needs by the sounds of things). Pollen filter every 2 years. Plugs every 40k. Aircon when it needs it. Brake fluid get's changed if I ever work on the calipers. Anything else on the engine gets fixed when it needs it. Auxillary belt gets changed when it starts squealing. Cam belt gets done at the appropriate intervals.

That's just my personal/practical take on servicing, and will be different from the official answer. Guess it depends how confident you are with checking a car yourself though.

If you really want to know ring your local Skoda garage and ask what's included. Or even better, ring a VAG specialist, because they will do a better job and not rip you off.

theres a vag place in king,s lynn, i use ALS skoda dealer in little downham and find them ok on price and the service provided
