Halford BOGOF on Brilliance bulbs

Featured Replies

Just a quick post , might be useful if your lights need improvemnet.

Halfords are doing a buy one get one free on there range of Brilliance bulbs again, ends Christmas.

Cheers

They're not bad bulbs either. Both of my first set lasted just over a year with 25k done in that time and I would suspect close to half at least being in the dark or with lights on (being silver I usually drive with the lights on anyway so I'm noticed when overtaking). Perhaps a few % down on Osram nightbreakers they are still very good although not up to proper HID systems (there's a reason they're more expensive, they just plain old work better!), and at less than £20 a pair they're cheap too when on offer. Yeah, you can go online and get deals on others but tbh, I can never be bothered and just pop into the local halfords for them. Shame they don't offer trade on them though.

As with all the 90%+ish bulbs they do dim a bit through their life but they're still better than the +50% even at the end of their life. Definitely worth it if like me you can't be bothered ordering and collecting from the post office.
