Forge FMIC w/ Stainless Steel Boost Pipe

Featured Replies

After popping the boost pipes of the standard SMIC I am thinking perhaps it's time to do the job properly and get those intake temperatures down. I have replaced the black plastic boost return pipe with the one that was custom made and sold on these forums by a member and I am just wondering if that affects the fittings or connections for the pipes supplied with the Forge FMIC kit? Pictures and feedback appreciated :) John

Anyone with a Forge FMIC able to help me out?

I have the Forge Kit Fitted & one of the Said Briskoda Members Hard Pipes. This fit's the Fmic.Although it would appear that the Fmic Kit comes with all required pipework anyhow.http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=5267The Fmic was already fitted to my vehicle, Although all the connections are just jubilee clips & silicone hose's. So any adaption is possible with the right components. The Pipe you are talking about is the one in the Picture with the Map sensor hole/mounting point on it. If you were to use your custom pipe on the Forge Fmic, You would still need the Map sensor section chopping & fitting in betweenThanks.Dean

Thanks for the reply Dean.

Would you mind posting up a few pictures of yours so I can see how it looks both inside and outside the engine bay?

Thanks, John
