Hi, I have a skoda fabia vrs 04 plate. I am having problems with the amount of hot air i get from the vents. On average my journey to work takes 30-40 mins, Firstly it takes around 15 mins to get any warm air but then thats all i seem to get. i could drive around for an hour and the air is just warm, barely enough to clear the screen on a winter morning. In addition, its been about 8 months when my vent fan started to make louder noises, just behind the glove compartment. The sound is best described as a fast waving flap. Just to add , when driving i have noticed that when the car is revving high 2500rmp all a sudden the air seems to get hotter but then goes back to warm as the revs come down.Any help welcome.

Search on here for 'flap motors', which may well hold the answer to the temperature problem. As for the noise, sorting the flap motors might fix it, otherwise follow this:
