Rear Wiper

Featured Replies

wondering if you kind people can help?

I have a 2004 fabia vrs, however recently the rear wiper motor has stopped working but scoosher still works. I have checked all the fuses (which are ok) therefore i think the motor has packed in.

If i replace the wiper motor does it have to be from a skoda fabia hatchback? Am i right in saying it could be from a Seat ibza, Skoda fabia estate and VW golf etc

Cheers

Hello and Welcome to the Forum.

I think it has to be a Skoda one. I had this problem this year with mine failing. The one I looked at was from a polo or Ibiza (can't remember which) and would not fit because the bolt holes were not the same.

I ended up in getting it from a specialist Skoda Scrap yard, SkoSpares. It was £20 + VAT, which is much better than £85 odd from Skoda. Give them a try, www.SkoSpares.com
